While we are recovering from the roller coaster ride that is finding out Dan Harmon will be returning to Community and seeing the re-emergence of the Comics Alliance but also hearing Matt Smith will be saying goodbye to the role of The Doctor (with Moffat staying…) and of course Game of Thrones (hug, anyone?), let’s get on with what is happening this week.
This past weekend we stopped by the west side shops and demoed a new to us game, stared obsessively at figures we can’t afford, and further confirmed Cleveland’s never ending wealth of quality people. River division aside, guys, we recommend some serious adventuring to the west and east side shops. If you’re interested in a change of scenery or banter, check out what’s out here and support local! We again had a positive response and made plans for future events (coming soon!!). We expect to be visiting the south side and Akron/Kent shops in the next couple of weeks.
This week, take a deep breath, look on the bright side of the road closures (Cleveland’s going to be Winter Soldier famous!) and check out some of these events below.
At the pARTy in Gordon Square there will be Superman’s “The Planet”, a pop up shop hosting comic dealers, local artists, caricaturists, and a toy shop including lots of Superman memorabilia, as well as Free Classic Cartoons at the Capitol Theater.
As always, let us know what we are missing on the site (not showing your favorite shop or know of an event?) or what you want to see and look for some guest posts later this week.
So, what are you doing this week?
