For GeekCLE Trivia Night, starting at 9p, we will be giving out prizes to geeks that know the answers to increasingly nerdy questions. Past trivia nights have included questions like “What fictional doctor of science said: ‘Why worry? Each one of us is carrying an unlicensed nuclear accelerator on his back.’?” or “Luke compared the trench run on the Death Star to where back home?”. Study up and win awesome things like gift certificates to local businesses and things we found over at Big Fun. In addition to trivia, we’re calling all pinball wizards to Pints and Pins, an 8 week tournament (that you can jump in on at any time) brought to you by PBR, the B Side Liqour Lounge & Arcade, and GeekCLE over at the B Side. Through December 30, at 8pm players will be welcome to come play each machine and each following week, players will come try to raise those scores. At the end of the 8 week tournament the player will add up each games highest score and the person with the highest accumulative score will be deemed the master of all. Everything. But wait there is more… This will separate the losers from the owner of a brand new 40” Flat Screen TV and Playstation4 (with Battlefield and PS Plus). Second place will win a B Side Party Package and third will win Cavs tickets. Bonus for everyone, all tournament long PBR pints will be $1. More info here. POP! The Comic Culture Club, a club open to everyone who is interested in a friendly discussion on nerdy culture, will be meeting tonight in Parma to chat about “The Next Generation”.
