I am a fan of both the big two, but I lean toward DC. I think DC chose the more difficult approach in starting over entirely (somehow with the exception of Batman and Green Lantern?). I’ve been enjoying the more mystic related titles (swamp thing, animal man, phantom stranger). That being said, I find myself disappointed with the majority and I keep waiting for some of them to “get better”. There are few I really look forward to anymore. One of the things I used to like about DC was its history and the concept of legacy heroes. What used to be the company’s strength has disappeared (earth 2 helps some), and many of the characters I enjoyed have either become composites or ignored entirely (wally west….). Right now, there are more Marvel titles grabbing my attention, than DC (x books have been pretty good, as well as the cosmic stuff). I also have reservations about the upcoming Marvel event, which seems to be Crisis on Infinite Earths, and Wolverine screwed with time in Age of Ultron, so did Hal Jordan in Zero Hour. Either way, New 52 is still better than Heroes Reborn, right?
